Create, read and edit a PowerPoint file in ASP.NET

You can create or edit a PowerPoint file in ASP.NET Web Forms with the .NET PowerPoint Library. The steps are as follows.
NOTE
This ASP.NET Web Forms platform is deprecated. You can use the same product from the ASP.NET Core platform. For more information on migrating the .NET PowerPoint Library from .NET Framework to .NET Core, refer here.
Create a PowerPoint file in ASP.NET
Step 1: Create a new C# ASP.NET Web application project.

Step 2: Select the Empty template to create the project.

Step 3: Install the Syncfusion.Presentation.AspNet NuGet package as a reference to your .NET Framework applications from NuGet.org. The package is compatible with .NET Framework 4.0 and later.

NOTE
Starting with v16.2.0.x, if you reference Syncfusion® assemblies from trial setup or from the NuGet feed, you also have to add “Syncfusion.Licensing” assembly reference and include a license key in your projects. Please refer to this link to know about registering Syncfusion® license key in your application to use our components.
Step 4: After installing the Syncfusion.Presentation.AspNet nuget package, the following assemblies were included in our project.
- Syncfusion.Compression.Base
- Syncfusion.Licensing
- Syncfusion.OfficeChart.Base
- Syncfusion.Presentation.Base
Step 5: The below code snippets demonstrate how to create a PowerPoint Presentation in ASP.NET platform.

Place the Image.jpg file in the project root (or App_Data) so it is available at runtime.

Read and edit a PowerPoint file in ASP.NET
You can edit an existing PowerPoint file using this library. The below code snippet demonstrates accessing a shape from a slide and changing the text within it.
