Header Image Customization

To set the Tab Header image for each Tab item, you need to specify image in the ImageCssClass property during the TabItem declaration.

The following code example is used to add the Header image for the root Tab header element.

Add the following ASPX to render Tab with Header image.

    Rounded corners

    By enabling the ShowRoundedCorner property, you can customize the shape of the Tab control from regular rectangular shape to rounded rectangle shape that is set to false, by default.

    Enable/Disable

    You can Enable or Disable the Tab control by the Enabled property. By default, the property set to true.

    Enable/Disable

    Enabling Reload Icon

    Without refreshing/reloading the whole page, you can reload a particular Tab by using the Reload icon. The Reload icon appears at the right corner of the Tab by enabling the property, ShowReloadIcon to true. When you move the cursor over the Tab headers, the Reload icon is displayed. By default, the property value is set to false.

    Collapsible Tabs

    You can collapse the Tab content by setting the Collapsible property to true. When the property is set to true, click the active Tab header, and the Tab contents are hidden. By default, the property value is set to false.

    Adjusting Tab Size

    Height Adjust Mode and Height

    The height of the Tab control is customized by Height property. The Tab control’s Height depends on the HeightAdjustMode property. By using the HeightAdjustMode property, you can adjust the Height by Content, Auto, and Fill. By default, the HeightAdjustMode is set to content.

    The Width of the Tab control is customized by using the Width property that accepts only the pixel values.

    Adjusting Tab Width

    Theme

    Tab control’s style and appearance are controlled based on the CSS classes. In order to apply styles to the Tab control, you can refer to the files, ej.widgets.core.min.css and ej.theme.min.css. When the file ej.web.all.min.css is referred, it is not necessary to include the files ej.widgets.core.min.css and ej.theme.min.css in your project, as ej.web.all.min.css is the combination of these two files.

    The tab control used for navigations can render any controls inside its content. We have adding our Grid control inside tab content section. The tab property HeightAdjustMode set to None and set tab height.
