Introducing Standalone UI SDKs

We are introducing Standalone UI SDKs to provide greater flexibility in how you license and build your applications.

In addition to the UI Component Suite, you can now purchase individual SDKs for:

  • Grid SDK
  • Chart SDK
  • File Manager SDK
  • Gantt SDK
  • Scheduler SDK
  • Diagram SDK
  • Rich Text Editor SDK

Whether you need a single specialized component or a comprehensive UI suite, you can now choose the product that best fits your application requirements and budget.

Starting with this release, Gantt, Scheduler, Diagram and Rich Text Editor components are now available as standalone SDKs and licensed separately. While the UI component suite continues to provide the comprehensive collection of the remaining high-performance UI components.

Note: This change applies to the new product purchases only. Existing customers will continue to receive access to all the UI components, including Gantt, Scheduler, Diagram and Rich Text Editor, according to their current licensing. No changes are required for the existing customers.

SfAIAssistView

Breaking Changes

  • The AIAssistView control UI has been modernized to align with current AI chat design standards and updated design references used across AI-driven applications.
  • The StopRespondingText property has been removed. The stop action is no longer rendered as a separate text-based element. Instead, it is now embedded within the send button as an icon, following modern AI chat UI design.

  • Added Agent Mode support, allowing users to easily switch between AI agents directly in the editor through a simple chip with an icon and label to tailor tone, behavior, and responses.
  • Added Structured Prompt support, allowing users to build smarter prompts with SystemPrompt, ContextPrompt, and flexible PromptPart collection for consistent, predictable prompt composition.
  • Added Built-in Voice (STT and TTS) support, allowing users to speak their prompts and listen to AI responses with out-of-the-box voice interaction.
  • Added Image Preview for Attachments support, allowing users to view attached images in full size upon tapping for a better user experience.

  • Added Toast Notifications support, allowing users to receive quick, non-intrusive feedback for actions like success or errors with lightweight toast messages.
  • Added DisclaimerText support, allowing users to access feedback options and AI disclaimers through a dedicated footer aligned with modern AI UX patterns.
  • Added Grouped Suggestions support, allowing users to discover suggestions organized into categories like “history” and “recommended” while typing.
  • Added Conversation Management support, allowing users to manage chats more efficiently by filtering, pinning, renaming, or deleting conversations through an interactive history panel.
  • Added AllowEditorExpansion support, allowing users to write longer, structured prompts in an expandable input box perfect for detailed queries or code snippets.
  • Added Scroll Behavior Control support, allowing users to choose optional scrolling behavior where the conversation view automatically scrolls to either the latest user request or the most recent AI response.
  • Added Built-in File Picker support, allowing users to quickly select and attach files to their conversations with a seamless built-in file picker.

SfRichTextEditor

Features

  • The Rich Text Editor now includes support for Code Block Language Selection, enabling users to specify the programming language for code snippets. By associating code blocks with a particular language, this enhancement improves code readability, structure, and presentation, ensuring a more accurate and consistent authoring experience for technical content across supported languages.

SfTreeView

Features

  • Added Built-in Checkbox support, allowing users to add checkboxes to TreeView items for easy interaction without needing custom templates.

SfSmartDataGrid

Breaking Changes

The NuGet package and namespace for the SfSmartDataGrid control have been updated in this release.

Description

Previously, the SfSmartDataGrid control was included in the shared Syncfusion.Maui.SmartComponents NuGet package and namespace. To enhance modularity and improve maintainability, it has now been separated into its own dedicated NuGet package and namespace.

NuGet Change

  • Old NuGet package: Syncfusion.Maui.SmartComponents
  • New NuGet package: Syncfusion.Maui.SmartDataGrid

Namespace Change

  • Old namespace: Syncfusion.Maui.SmartComponents
  • New namespace: Syncfusion.Maui.SmartDataGrid

Impact

Applications that use the SfSmartDataGrid control and reference the old NuGet package or namespace will encounter compilation errors after upgrading to this version.

Action Required

  • Replace the old NuGet package with the new Syncfusion.Maui.SmartDataGrid package.
  • Update all namespace references in both C# and XAML code to the new namespace.
