Syncfusion JavaScript components are compatible with all the major browsers which includes the following -
- Internet Explorer 8 +
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox 22 +
- Chrome 17 +
- Opera 12 +
- Safari 5 +
NOTE
To render the Syncfusion JavaScript components properly in the web browsers, it is mandatory to specify the document type declaration, DOCTYPE at the beginning of your ‘HTML’ or ‘XHTML’ application. If DOCTYPE is not specified in your ‘HTML’ document, then the quirks mode in web browser will not support the rendering of any of the Syncfusion JavaScript components.

System Requirements
- Any text editors such as Notepad or Notepad++.
- Web browsers with JavaScript enabled in it.
- If you want to use Reporting or Business Intelligence controls, it is necessary to have one of the IDE – Visual Studio 2010+ in the machine.
