Remove controlled folder access settings for Data Integration Platform

The controlled folder access settings are used for blocking some applications to prevent ransom ware attacks.

You can remove the controlled folder access settings for the Syncfusion Data Integration Platform by following these steps.

##Steps

Step 1: While installing the Data Integration Platform with User Management Server, you can see the User Management Server is blocked by the Controlled folder access settings.

Click the Windows button, search, and open the Controlled folder access.

Step 2: Select Allow an app through Controlled folder access and then select Add an allowed app, and choose the Recently blocked apps.

Step 3: Select the StartUserManagementServerIISExpress.exe and click on the Add button as shown in the following image and select close.

Step 4: Start the Syncfusion Data Integration User Management Server by clicking the desktop icon.

Step 5: The UMS home page will be launched as shown in the following image.
