PropertyDescription

Remarks
You can mark the contents as invalid by by setting System.ComponentModel.CancelEventArgs.Cancel to True.

The grid raises this event when the CurrentCell object's GridCurrentCell.Validate method is called. GridCurrentCell.Deactivate calls this method when the current cell was in editing mode and its contents were modified.

You can determine if GridCurrentCell.Deactivate was called stand-alone or as result of a GridCurrentCell.MoveTo call by checking the GridCurrentCell.IsInMoveTo property.

You can find out about the current cell's position by querying the GridCurrentCell.RowIndex and GridCurrentCell.ColIndex properties of the CurrentCell object in GridControlBase.

See GridCurrentCell.MoveTo for a discussion about the order of events that you receive when the current cell is moved.
