Syncfusion.Windows.Forms.Grid Namespace > GridControlBase Class : CurrentCellDeactivateFailed Event

CurrentCellDeactivateFailed Event

Occurs after the grid fails to deactivate the current cell.
Syntax
'Declaration

<DescriptionAttribute("Occurs after the grid fails to deactivate the current cell.")>
<CategoryAttribute("Behavior")>
Public Event CurrentCellDeactivateFailed As EventHandler
'Usage

Dim instance As GridControlBase
Dim handler As EventHandler

AddHandler instance.CurrentCellDeactivateFailed, handler
[Description("Occurs after the grid fails to deactivate the current cell.")]
[Category("Behavior")]
public event EventHandler CurrentCellDeactivateFailed
Remarks
The grid raises this event when the CurrentCell object's GridCurrentCell.Deactivate method is called and can not deactivate the current cell. The reason deactivation may fail could be that the cell's contents were invalid or any of the event handlers associated with deactivating the current cell signaled to abort this operation.

You can determine if GridCurrentCell.Deactivate was called stand-alone or as result of a GridCurrentCell.MoveTo call by checking the GridCurrentCell.IsInMoveTo property.

See GridCurrentCell.MoveTo for a discussion about the order of events that you receive when the current cell is moved.
